As a researcher at the Institute of Europan Studies at VUB, Tomas is on a mission to guide humankind through its technological adolescence. He has been working on climate policy since 2001 in different roles: government, NGO, think thank and since 2014 in academia. His main focus is researching the low-carbon transition of industrial sectors (e.g. steel and chemicals) and their value chains. Looking at bridging technology and policy.
